Privacy policy
Last updated: September 2026
What happens to the data you send through the contact form on this site.
Who is responsible
Eleonora Casara (nora*c), Padua / Venice, Italy — ph@noracphotographer.com. She decides why and how the data described below is handled.
What is collected
Only what you type into the contact form: name, email address and the text of your message. The date and the IP address of the connection are recorded alongside it, as a protection against automated abuse. Nothing else is collected, and the site sets no tracking or profiling cookies.
Why, and on what basis
The data serves one purpose only: reading your message and replying to it. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box next to the privacy statement before sending. Without that tick the form does not send.
How long it is kept
Messages stay in the mailbox for as long as the exchange is useful, and in any case no longer than 24 months, after which they are deleted. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner at any time.
Who else sees it
Nobody the message is not addressed to. The data is not sold, not shared for commercial purposes and never used for newsletters. It passes only through the email provider running the mailbox (Aruba S.p.A., servers in the European Union) and the hosting of this site.
Your rights
Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR give you the right to see the data concerning you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to limit its use, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw a consent already given. Write to ph@noracphotographer.com: a reply is due within thirty days. If it does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
This site sets one technical cookie to remember the language you chose, and one technical session cookie required by the contact form. Both are needed for the site to work, neither tracks you, and no consent banner is required for them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
